Responsible for developing and conducting processes related to the Permit Agreement that must be issued by MDAD for any person, firm or corporation requiring access to Miami International Airport and the General Aviation Airports, in order to transact business with an airline, other airport tenant or customers located outside of the Airport, as applicable. Processes include the monitoring and review of permit applications and all related documentation to ensure compliance with County and MDAD policies and procedures. Assist and guide prospective airport customers, the public and existing Permittees with all permitting, regulatory and other aviation related requests and questions. The Permit Section oversees the collection of Permit established fees and further enforces and monitors compliance with all rules, regulations, terms, conditions and covenants of the Permit, as well as Departmental established procedures and business practices.
